Mrs. Lottie Edna Lukens Dies; Was ISSCH Governess 11 Years
Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon At Knightstown
Mrs. Lottie Edna Lukens died Thursday evening at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Home near Knightstown, where she had served as governess for the past 11 years.
Mrs. Lukens, who was 71 years old, was the widow of Harry W. Lukens of Charlottesville. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the Friends Church at Pendleton.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Cophene McDaniels of Charlottesville; three sons: Maurice of West Alexandria, OH and Arlis & Kenneth, both of Poughkeepsie, NY; two brothers: Chester James of Pendleton and George James of CA; fifteen grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Butcher Funeral Home in Knightstown on Sunday, 2 p.m.. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday.
