Amy F. Abbott died Monday morning at her home, 512 East Front in Bloomington, after two months illness. Mrs. Abbott was born at Farmington, Ill., March 19, 1841. When 14 years old she came with her parents to Wapella. She was married May 2, 1869 to John S. Abbott, who died in 1880. Mrs. Abbott and daughters, Lou and Edna, moved to Bloomington in 1884. These children survive. She was a member and an earnest worker of the M. E. church. Her remains were brought here Wednesday for interment in Sugar Grove cemetery.
