Lars was also known in the US as Louis(Lewis) Henry Anderson. He was born in Talvik Norway to Anders Larsen and Grete Martina Pedersdatter. He was the 5th of 10 known children.

He married Anna Ingaborg Oas/Aas on 26 Dec 1866 in Talvik. He and Anna and her parents emigrated on the SS Hibernia out of Liverpool, Eng and landed in Quebec in Aug 1865.

I first find them in the US in the 1875 census of Grant, Lincoln County Kansas. That census said they came to Lincoln County from Minnesota, but I haven't found yet, where in Minnesota.

In 1880 they were in Orange, Lincoln, Kansas.

In 1885 they were in Blue, Pottawatomie,Kansas.

In 1895 they were in Stanfold, Barron, Wisconsin. They remained in Barron County through 1920.

By 1930 they were living with a married daughter in Duluth, MN where he died. His wife died 3 weeks earlier in Minneapolis. Per the 1900 census they were the parents of 14 children; 7 of whom were living. I have been able to identify 9 of the 14 children
