Jarold "Jay" E. Voelker age 60 died on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Rennes Health Center East where he was a resident. He was born on July 3, 1944 in Marinette, WI son of the late George and Gertrude ( Wolverton) Voelker.
Jarold was a loving, kind and gentle soul who put everyone else first. Everyone who knew him loved him and referred to him a J-Bird. He was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed music and his guitar.
His is survived by five brothers: Gene of Peshtigo, WI; Alan (Margaret), Pound, WI;
Richard (Cheryl), Green Bay, WI; Wayne (Margie), Spread Eagle, WI and Verlon (Candy) Green Bay, WI;
two sisters: His twin sister, Jodyn (Gary) Walters, Peshtigo, WI and Lorna Converse, DePere, WI
and many nieces and nephews;
Special friend and roommate George Scott.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Henry; one sister, Lora and a nephew, Mike.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at Rennes Health Center East in Peshtigo from 1:30 P.M. until time of services at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at the Harmony Cemetery.
