Arnold D. Ralph died Friday night at his home, 378 Appleton Street, after a long illness.
He was born in England and for many years was connected with one of the big banks in Montreal and from there went to Buffalo, where he continued in the banking business.
Later he entered the employ of an auditing company as an expert accountant and a year ago went to Holyoke, where he held a responsible position with the American writing paper company, which position he held until ill-health compelled his retirement a few weeks ago.
He leaves besides a widow, a mother in England and two brothers in Canada.
