Betty J Samford David Roberts, age 74, of Denton, TX, passed away May 3, 2013. A devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Normal & Odie Mae "Jackie" Samford; Brother, Bob Samford; Husband, George Roberts; Son, Robert M. David Jr. and step-daughter Sherry Delong. Those remaining to treasure her loving memories are: Kimberly (Jeff) Dickerson of Larue; Keith David of Irving; Gayla (Chuck) Mays of Lewisville; six loving grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; extended family; Marshall Fischer, 2 step-children, 9 step- grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren; and also her loving companion of 14 years, her poodle, Precious. Betty began her life-long career in 1972 as a Machinist and Inspector of jet engines with Avial Airline Services and retired after 32 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career she met many loving friends whom are still considered part of her extended family.
