Amory Sibley Carhart of Tuxedo Park, a son of the late Mary E. Rose and George Beavers Carhart, died yesterday at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Marion Prentice Brookman of 5 East Seventieth Street.

Mr. Carhart was born in this city and was educated in hanover, Germany. He was commander of the Military Order of Foreign Wars of the United States and a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants. He was also Lieutenant Governor of the Society of Colonial Wars, State of New York.

Mr. Carhart was a Director of the Union Trust Company of New York and of the People's Trust Company of Brooklyn, and he was a member of the Union, Knickerbocker, and Tuxedo Clubs. He is survived by Mrs. Carhart, who was Marion Brookman, the daughter of the late Henry D. Brookman, and by his son, Amory Sibley Cahart, Jr., and his daughter Marion Renée Cahart.
