Jack continued his flying career when the family moved to Mercersburg in 1960, where he was the pilot for Fry Coal and Stone Co. He subsequently held positions as a corporate pilot for Martin Marietta Corp., Grove Manufacturing, Fairchild Industries and H B Mellott Estates. Jack flew such luminaries as Werner Von Braun, Henry Kissinger, Gerald Ford and Elvis Presley. He retired from active flying in 1989, but maintained his passion for airplanes throughout his life.
