Otto Geist, Jr. NEW LONDON - Otto Geist, Jr., 61, of New London, died January 6, 2013. A son of the late Otto T. and Blanche (Green) Geist, Sr., he was a 1970 graduate of New London High School. He worked at the Ford Motor Co. in Lorain for 36 years, retiring in 2006. He worked for McClaflin Farms. He was a lieutenant on the Rochester Fire Dept. Survivors include his wife, Sandy (Holmer) Geist; children, Jill (Oliver) Dettman, Teri (Dan) DiVincenzo and Will (Jewel) Geist; 3 grandchildren, Maddison and Ellery Roberts, Cooper Dettman; brother, Sid (Gail) Geist; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 10 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Community of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 240 State Route 511, Nova. Burial will follow at Rochester Center Cemetery.
