Mr. B.C. Buck Allen, age 75 of Chickalah Mountain, died Saturday, April 23 at his home. He was a native of Gravelly, Yell County, Arkansas, son of the late Will and Georgia Ann Benefield Allen, a WWII Veteran and a rancher.
Survivors are his wife, Louetta Albright Allen; one son, Allen Howsley of Chickalah Mtn.; one sister, Eliza Smith of Havana and several nephews and nieces.
Services were April 26 at Chickalah Community Church with Rev. Earl Stapleton officiating. Interment was in the Mountain Springs Cemetery, Chickalah Mountain by Cornwell Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Tom Gheen, Charley Ward, Warren Pickens, Duard Smith, Don Smith, Paul Smith.
