ABSTRACT Died April 23, 1902. At his home, corner of 4th and Cerritos. Age 78. Came to Long Beach last fall from Fort Dodge, Iowa, because of asthma but felt so improved he "undertook to paint his house which proved too much for his enfeebled condition" and had been confined to bed for several weeks. He was born in Switzerland and a florist by occupation. Leaves his widow and 14-year-old son of his second marriage. Masonic funeral rites. Interment at Evergreen cemetery, Los Angeles. (Interred at Angelus Rosedale according to FAG member 46956504)
