Mrs. Oens was born at Chili Feb. 27, 1885. She was educated there and lived in that area for many years.
She was married on Nov. 28, 1911 to Harry Oens, who died in 1951. The couple had farmed in the Cannonville area. After Mr. Oens' death, his wife moved to Neillsville.
While a resident of Cannonville, Mrs. Oens was a member of the school board. She was an active member of the United Church of Christ and its Ladies Aid.
She is survived by a son, Clyde, of Racine.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, four sisters, and three brothers.
