We are again called to record the death of another aged and highly respected citizen of our town, Miss Agnes Hefflefinger, a life long resident of this community and a member of the Church of God at this place. She is survived by her brother William, of Effingham, Kansas, and a sister Mrs. Mary Shoemaker, of Roxbury. Funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock, interment at Zion Church.

Cannot explain why Nancy's name was listed as Agnes. Perhaps it was a typo, a nickname, or her name actually was Agnes and Nancy was a nickname. Her name appears as Nancy on her death cert, as well all census records.
