Survivors include 3 sons, Nathan Holmes of Vero Beach, Florida. David Holmes of Fort Pierce, and Steven Holmes of Fort Pierce; her daughter, Verda Walker of Fort Pierce; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Holmes is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Leverne Holmes; and her siblings, Alice Wheeler, Bertie Dillard, Alma Duggors, Maude Thyler, Velda Warnock, Lois Merrifield, Cecil Stephens and Hoyt Thompson.
