SGT Don Allen "Bubba" Paddick, U.S. Army, born July, 25, 1963 passed away on May 4, 2013 at the age of 49. He was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a Parachute Rigger and Green Beret. After serving his country he worked at Triple S Dynamics. Don was preceded in death by his father, Gene A. Paddick, his grandmother, Dessie Turner, and grandparents, Joe and Azalee Hammerly. Survivors include his mother, Carol Torsch, his children; Charles Allen Paddick and wife, Paige, and Amber Paddick Sisters; Nancy Bell, and Maryann Mayfield, his beloved grandbabies Elijah, Rhett, and Gwen, Half Sisters; Della Schaefer, Stella Maxwell and Lorie Holt. Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 2:00PM-6:00PM. Graveside Service will take place at 10:30AM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 8115 Datapoint Dr., San Antonio, TX 78229.
