NAMPA — Requiem Mass for James P. Linehan, 82, who died Friday at a Nampa nursing home, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nampa by Rev. Fr. Ellis Carver.
Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Shepherd Chapel.
Rosary devotions will be recited at Shepherd Chapel at 8 p.m. tonight.
Mr. Linehan was horn Feb. 24, 1886, at Oreana, and was reared in the Oreana and Triangle communities. He had ranched in Owyhee County for a number of years. He was an honorary member of the Owyhee Historical Society and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Linehan, Halley; a sister, Mrs. Mary Knight, Caldwell; and several nieces and nephew.
