Donald B. Mosher, 86, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at Wesley Towers Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.

He was born September 30, 1926 in Rice County, Kansas, the son of Carl S. and Olga (Bressler) Mosher.

Serving during the Korean Conflict, he was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of, the First United Methodist Church where he was active in the Methodist Men and Double Circle Class, and American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68. He retired as head of accounting after 39 years with Dillon's.

On June 18, 1950, he married Ivylene M. McElwain in Burrton. She died September 14, 2009.

He is survived by; a daughter, Debra McCoy and husband Robert, Hutchinson; son, David W. Mosher and wife Bobbie, Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Harold Mosher and wife Marge, Chapman, KS, and Steve Mosher and wife Sandy, Merriam, KS; five grandchildren, Dane and Luke Graham, Dalton, Trinity, and Michael Mosher; step-granddaughter, Stephanie Dreissel, Seattle, WA; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Zella Mosher; brother, James Mosher; and sister-in-law, Karen Mosher-Hite.
