Eva was born May 11, 1923 in Chugwater, the daughter of Lynn and Minerva (Rutledge) Pitzer.
She spent her childhood and attended schools in Chugwater. On Nov. 5, 1938, she married Lloyd Stockett in Denver. They celebrated 59 years of marriage before Lloyd passed away in 1997. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and spending time with her family. She was active in church activities at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cedaredge, Colo.
She is survived by her daughter, Dona Baptist of Cedaredge; three grandsons; 10 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Stockett and two sons, Donald and Dennis Stockett.
