Ruth Genevieve Ashmore Reuter, a fantastic lady passed away August 22, 2012 in Tallahassee.

Genevieve was born in Ben Haden, Florida on April 23, 1917.

She married Frederick W.P. Reuter, June 1, 1941. She taught at Leon High School before she and Frederick became members of the State Department. They traveled extensively throughout Asia building schools and curriculum primarily in Vietnam and Thailand.

Frederick and Genevieve retired to Tifton, Ga. They moved back to their family home of Tallahassee where they attended Killearn United Methodist Church.

Genevieve is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Reuter, Sr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10 AM in the Bevis Funeral Home Chapel. Bevis Funeral Home (www.bevisfh.com 850-385-2193) is handling the arrangements.
