She enjoyed being a homemaker caring for her husband and children, making sure they were taught right from wrong, the importance of having God in their lives and having them read the Bible. Mrs. Shearman�s had several careers starting out as a donut maker and then cashier at Pixley�s Supermarket when it was located on Cedar Street. She later worked at Fisher Price Toy Company, and retired from Harris Hill Dry Cleaners as the Manager for their drop off center on Main St. in Akron.
A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Akron, she once served as a Deaconess, and a Sunday school teacher educating the youth on the importance of a good Christian life. She also was a member of the Ladies Red Cross at the church, and was known for many years as one to send cards for get well wishes, missing you birthdays and holidays. "Ellie" enjoyed shopping at Christian stores, doing beadwork sharing many of her crafts especially rainbows with family and friends. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint. Eleanor will be missed greatly by her family and her church family. She was a true Christian lady who deeply loved the Lord her church and everyone she came in contact with. "We love you Ellie" we will see you again in the kingdom of heaven.

Daughter of the late Henry and Nellie (Brickwood) Wilson. Eleanor is predeceased by her husband Charles L. Shearman. Loving mother of Donna (Rev. Dean) Ryder, Diane Shearman and Duane (Hylene) Shearman. Cherished grandmother of Charles, Eric, Keith, Laurie and the late Deborah Lynn, proud great grandmother of three.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the First Baptist Church, 122 Main Street, Akron where funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 PM. Rev. Dean Ryder will officiate.
Burial:
Burial will be in Acacia Park and Resthaven Cemetery North Tonawanda.
