Mrs. Elizabeth E. Bean
GORHAM - Mrs. Elizabeth E. Bean, 77, widow of Frank L. Bean, of 10 Narragansett St., died at her home Sunday morning after a short illness.
She was born in Gorham May 12, 1891, the daughter of Humphrey H. and Louisa Northing Newcomb.
Mrs. Bean was past president of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Gorham Fire Department, a member of the Narragansett Rebekah Lodge, a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary Steven Manchester Post A. L. and a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Canton Sebago No. 7.
She leaves seven sons, William Leslie, Philip L., Robert A., and Edward E., all of Gorham, Leonard H. of Windham, Clyde F. of Buxton and Bernard A., of Macon, GA.; a daughter, Miss Shirley M. Bean of Gorham; two sisters, Mrs. Julia L. Babbidge and Mrs. Helen Marie Squire, both of Westbrook and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Neal Funeral Home, 76 State St., Gorham. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery.

She had 12 children. William Leslie, Roland E., Philip Laughton, Leonard Hubert, Thelma Marie b. June 19, 1919 d. August 1, 1920, Robert Aston "Bob", Clyde Franklin, Edward Everett "Tink", Richard Stanley b. May 1924 d. October 16,1924, Shirley Mae, a stillborn daughter, Bernard Austin "Bernie".
