GALVESTON - Irving G. Apparicio, 87, departed this life on Saturday, October 23, 1999, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30,1999, at the chapel of Fields Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. A.S. Johnson, officiating.

Burial Will follow at Memorial Cemetery hi Hitchcock, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by a wake service from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29th, at Fields Funeral Home.

Mr. Apparicio was born May 25,1912, hi Trinidad, Virgin Islands. He was a seaman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Leo Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Apparicio; children, Lois Hutchison, Ken Apparicio, Margie Lopez, Stanley Apparicio, Arm Selman and Cheryl Bibbins; brothers, Clifford Apparicio and Sear Apparicio; special nieces, Margie Teagle and Buttons; devoted nephew and niece, John and Esla Phillips; special friends. Cecil Hawes, Jim McHveen and Joe Broussard; special sister-in-law, Ella Atkins; a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
