After a long illness, Mrs. Sarah E., widow of Theodore Trefry, died Sunday, at her home, 99 Elm street, thus surviving her husband only a short time. She was 77 years, nine months and 26 days of age. Mrs. Trefry was a native of Marblehead and had spent her entire life here. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Three daughters, Mrs. Frank W. Goodwin, Mrs. Harrie K. Nutting and Miss Addie B. Trefry, and one son, Mr. Harry G. Trefry, all of Marblehead, survive her, besides one brother, Mr. D.B.H. Power, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Humphrey of Lynn. The deceased was a woman whose many sterling qualities endeared her to a host of friends and one who will be much missed although her home was her sphere. Her funeral was held Tuesday, at 2 o'clock Rev. J.H. Barrows officiating, with the burial in Waterside Cemetery.
