The Rev. Arthur Dennis Conrad, a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond, died Jan. 5, 2000.
He was predeceased by his mother, Helen R. Lounsbury Conrad and is survived by his father, Arthur J. Conrad of Norfolk; and his brother James Wyant and wife, Nancy, of California.
A vigil with viewing will be held Sunday afternoon following 11:15 a.m. Mass until 3 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church at 33rd and S Streets in Richmond. Fr. Conrad's body will lie in repose at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Richmond on Monday from 10 a.m. to noon, where a Mass of Christian burial will follow at the Cathedral at noon with Bishop Walter Sullivan as the principal celebrant. An additional funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Norfolk, the boyhood parish of Fr. Conrad. His body will lie in respose after 9 a.m. and burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lounsbury Wyant Conrad Fund of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, 811 Cathedral Place, Richmond VA 23220.
