We moved to Tucson AZ 1/13.
Puff would come out of the hole in the brick and lay on top, or peek his head out. I had never seen a lizard like him. All different colors. I had lived in Kansas all my life.
He like spinach. and I would sing to him.
Today we were out back deciding to clean the bikes and he was by the wheel of the Burley. we though he was sunning himself. Tom came in and said he was dead. I thought he was playing possum. but when I picked him up he was heavy and had no marks of any kind on him. I wrapped a wet paper towel around him thinking he might come back to life, stupid I know.
Because the ground is so dry and hard we had to water it for a while. Tom dug a hold and I put his water dish over him so the ground would not be heavy on him.
I had been calling him for a few days and was worried a large bird may have hurt him. I think he wanted us to find him. I think he died of old age.
