Man Suffers Stroke
FULTON. Ky., March 26 -- B. P. Black, owner of an insurance agency at Hickman, collapsed while eating lunch at a Fulton restaurant today.
He was taken to a Fulton hospital where it was said be apparent!y suffered a stroke and that his condition is serious.

Civic Leader, Dies At 71
Fulton, Ky., March 27 -- B. P. Black, Hickman insurance agent and a resident of that community for 40 years, died at Hillview Hospital at Fulton at 4:30 a.m. today. He was 71.
He suffered a stroke at noon Monday while lunching with a client at Park Terrace Restaurant here.
Born in Fayette County, Tenn., he was owner of the Black Insurance Agency. For many years he was a cotton buyer, and he was a major stockholder in the Roper Pecan Co. of Hickman.
An active church worker, Mr. Black was chairman of the retirement board of the Memphis Conference of the Methodist church.
He was active also in the Civitan Club, the Boy Scouts of American and his own First Methodist Church in Hickman, serving on its official board for many years.
Surviving are a son, Robert P. Black of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Black Means of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Louellen Morris of Moscow, Tenn., and Mrs. Janie bailia of Harvey, Ill., and Mrs. Galdys Carr of Raleight, N.C.; and two brothers, Ben and Robert Black, both of Somerville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Methodist Church in Hickman, the Rev. King Dickerson and the Rev. Cecil Page officiating. Burial will be in Hickman cemetery.
