ADELE E. BUETTEL, a.k.a. 'Della', was the daughter of Frank Buettel, Sr. and Christianna Buettel. She had siblings named Frank Buettel, Jr., Olga Buettel Stormer and Martha Buettel, who died as a child. Her father was Private Frank Buettel, Sr., Company A, 73rd Pennsylvania Infantry.

Adele E. Buettel "DELLA" married Frank Randle on January 2,1894 in Colusa, California.

They had one son named Lowell Lawrence Randle. Sadly, he passed away one month after his mother as a result of drowning.

Della Randle died tragically from burns she received when she tried to move a gas stove outside of her house.

WOMAN SEVERELY BURNED.

Special to the Union. DIXON (Solano Co.). June 5.—A fire alarm was turned in at the noon hour and all companies responded to the call. The fire was discovered to be in Frank Randle’s home and as the fire had started from a gasoline stove the nelghhors had put it out with but little work. However, Mrs. Randle was burnt severely as the stove, which stood on the back porch, set fire to a piece of canvass. Mrs. Randle rushed to put the burning cloth out, but burned In her attempt.

MRS. RANDLE DIES FROM BURNS.

DIXON (Solano Co.), June 9.—Mrs. Frank Randle, who was severely burned last Friday by gasoline, died tonight from her injuries. She came with her husband to this city about two years ago and soon became one of the best known women in Dixon on account of her interest in matters tending to the betterments of affairs. She leaves a husband, Frank Randle, and a son, Lowell. Frank Randle is a brother of Civil Engineer George Randle of Sacramento.

MRS. FRANK RANDLE IS DEAD

"Word was received in Colusa this morning of the death of Mrs. Frank Randle which occurred in Dixon Tuesday evening from burns recently received while carrying a burning gasoline stove which was in danger of exploding, from her home to the yard. Mrs. Randle formerly was Miss DELLA BUETEL (sic. Buettel) of this city and graduated from the Colusa Grammar school in 1896. After leaving school she married Mr. Randle. Deceased was a daughter of Frank Buetel (sic Buettel) who at one time conducted a tailor shop here. Mrs. Randle is survived by her husband, one son, her father and a sister and brother. Mrs. Sam Stormer of Willows and Frank Buetel Jr. (Buettel) of San Francisco.

The remains will be shipped here Thursday for burial. The funeral will be held upon the arrival of the Colusa and Lake train at 1:50 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
