Clyde Randall, 90, of 836 South Ammons Branch Road, Marshall, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 28, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace Center.

Clyde was born on December 13, 1925. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where he served in many offices, such as Deacon, Song Leader and Teacher of the Men's Bible Class. When he was able, he was always wanting to work on the Church and Church grounds so that they would be in the best shape possible.

Clyde loved his Country and was proud to serve in the Army in World War II. At the end of his service, he received the American Theater Service Medal, Eame Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was a proud American Veteran! In World War II, an estimated 455,899 US Servicemen died serving our Country.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Worley Randall; an infant daughter; his parents, Johnny and Eva Randall; brothers, Edward Randall, Walter Randall and Troy Randall; sisters, Eller Worley, Velma Freshour, Gladys Lowman and Ethel Ball.

He is survived by his children, Wanda Buckner, Carroll Randall and wife, Violet and Alvin Randall and wife, Kathy. Surviving also, are his sisters, Grace Worley of Alexander, Faye Hendrix of Rhodhiss and Marie Hamby of Hickory. Clyde was a grandfather (Pappy) to five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Reverends Ken Parker, Joe Tomberlin and Mark Crowder officiating. Grandsons and Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Lower Big Pine-Worley Cemetery.
