Humphrey H. Newcomb
Gorham, Oct.11.- Humphrey H. Newcomb, 86, died in his home, Lincoln Street, today after a brief illness. He was a native of Gorham.
Born June 26, 1864, he was the son of Leonard and Julia Hanson Newcomb. He was a retired Boston & Maine Railroad employe [sic]. Surviving are four daughters, Miss Jessie Newcomb and Mrs. Frank L. Bean, both of Gorham; and Mrs. Perley L. Babbidge and Mrs. William H. Squire, both of Westbrook; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Neal Funeral Home, State Street, interment will be in Eastern Cemetery.
