Germaine M. Owens, age 88, formerly of 1604 21st St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning, May 12, 2013, at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.

Germaine was born December 1, 1924, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Alfred and Gen (Culligan) Kirchman. She graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1942. On May 7, 1949, she married Kenneth M. Owens, in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2008. Germaine was employed at the Bank of Two Rivers (White Bank) and also at the office of Dr. D. A. Kuljis. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends (The Club), bicycling with her husband and attending her childrens, grandchildrens and great grandchildrens events.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Thomas and Mary Owens and Robert Owens, all of Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Allen DeRosier, Gerald, Missouri; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Allan) Henrickson, T.J. (Kerri) Owens and Kim (Kyle) Gillespie; two great grandchildren: Angela and Casey Henrickson. She is further survived by two brothers: Kenneth (Marcy) Kirchman and Lee (Mary Ann) Kirchman, all of Two Rivers; along with other relatives and friends.
