Cecilia C. Liston, age 78, of Dixon, died Monday May 13, 2013 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon. She was born April 9, 1935, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Catherine (Docter) Cornwell. She had worked for Brook's Drugs, Admiral Corp and then Borg Warner in Dixon for 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Dixon.
She married Edward Liston May 7, 1956, in Dixon. He preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Bruce Cornwell.
She is survived by 2 sons, John (Tammie) Liston and Tim Liston; 7 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren and 4 brothers, John Stephen (Shirley) Cornwell, Philip (Evelyn) Cornwell, Thomas (Sue) Cornwell and Robert Cornwell.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday May 17, 2013 at 6:00 PM in St Anne Catholic Church in Dixon with the Rev. Michael Morrissey officiating. Family will be present at church on Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Serenity Hospice and Home and St Anne Catholic Church.
