She was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Mars, and was a daughter of the late Clarence Osche and Kathleen (Reiott) Osche.
Violet had worked at the Mushroom Mine and then was a bartender and cook at the T-Bar in Fenelton.
She was a former member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, and had loved to cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Bell, who she married Aug. 29, 1956, and who died May 1, 1993; four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
