"Ed" was born April 25, 1916 in the Pin Oak Community of Truxton, Missouri and passed away August 2, 2004 in Sun City, Arizona. After graduating from Central Wesleyan College in Warrenton, Missouri, he taught in one room schoolhouses in rural Missouri before marrying the former Ella A. Mordt. Together they attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa, studying under its founder, B. J. Palmer. Ed graduated in 1940 and followed with a professional career in Overland, Missouri. He was a member of the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for many years and was respected by patients and peers alike
