Robert (Bob) Taylor, 77, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. He was born November 17, 1935, in Lawrence, KS, the son of Everett Taylor and Abbie Marie Pettit. They preceded him in death, as well as a sister, Mildred Gulley, and son, Merle Wayne Taylor. Bob graduated in 1953 from Liberty Memorial High School and in 1953 married Lillian Jenson. They later divorced. Robert left behind his sister Deloris Jane Hardy (Ottawa), brother Leroy (Ottawa), and children Glen Robert (Lawrence), Donald Reed (Topeka), and Carl Alen (De Soto). He also has 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 11:00 am to Noon Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Lawrence Union Pacific Depot.
