Alice Barbara Eller, born on December 15, 1911 to Charles Asbury Eller, DDS, and Alice Howe (Eller), in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she attended Albuquerque High School and the University of New Mexico, graduating from UNM in 1931 with a BA in music. After marrying Warren Reno Graham Jr. she taught elementary education in the old Albuquerque 4th Ward School. She was able to retire from teaching with the birth of her two children (Elizabeth Marie Graham, and Warren Kirkland Graham), only to return to it after her youngest child had graduated from college. Barbara was blessed with a beautiful soprano voice, singing for a time on a local radio program in Albuquerque. Her avocations included golf and bridge (a master). She was blessed with many friends and was very active in the Albuquerque Junior League and the Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She died in Albuquerque on November 28, 2003 at the age of 91. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
