Mrs. Janice Tillman Alday, age 66, of Blountstown, FL passed Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Tallahassee, FL.

Janice was born on August 17, 1946 in Altha, FL and had lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She along with her husband, Buster, were owners and operators of Alday Insurance Agency in Blountstown, FL. At an early age in life Janice went to work at West Florida Gas Company and worked for M.E. Young for 18 years. She loved fishing and was member of Immonia Lake Fishing Club.

Survivors include her husband, Lowell (Buster) Alday of Blountstown; one son, Teddy Alday and his wife, Stacie, of Helena, AL; one daughter, Janna Richardson, and her husband, John, of Crawfordville, FL; two brothers, David Tillman and his wife, Barbara, of Blountstown; Delmar Tillman and his wife, Ruth, of Marianna, FL; three sisters, Gretchen Griffin and her husband, Woodrow, of Blountstown, Inez Capps and her husband, Paul, of Greenhead, FL; Lavaine Williams and her husband, Lloyd, of Marianna; five grandchildren, Bridgett Alday, Casey Alday, Marshall, Mason and Alexander Richardson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3, at 10:00 am (CDT) from the graveside at Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 6:00 pm (CDT) until 8:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL
