"Mrs. Adah Colt, Former Resident Here, Dies at 89 ~ Mrs. Adah Grant Colt, 89, formerly of Torrington, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richard Kissler, in Kenosha, Wis. Mrs. Colt was a daughter of one of the famous Grant triplets, who were born in Torrington and lived to be over 70 years old before death separated them. She resided here many years. She had made her home in Kenosha since 1943. She was a member of Valley Rebekah Lodge, IOOF, of Torrington and the Kenosha Episcopal Church. She was the widow of John Barber Colt, who died here in 1943. Besides the daughter at whose home she died, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Malcolm Pearson of Pittsfield, Mass.; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral arrangements, in charge of Tompkins-North Funeral Home, are incomplete."

"The funeral of Mrs. Adah Grant Colt, who died yesterday in Kenosha, Wis., will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the Tompkins-North Funeral Home. The Ven. Canon H. Francis Hine, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9."
