James I Laise, former Duncansville resident, died at 8.20 o'clock Thursday evening at the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, where he was admitted on April 13. He was born at Duncansville on March 19, 1888, and was a son of John H. Laise and Anna M. (Kephart) Laise, both deceased. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Emma L. Meade and Mrs. Lillian Frowine, both of Philadelphia, and one half-sister, Mrs. Hilda Wachter of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Liebegott funeral home at Duncansville after 7 o'clock this evening.
