"Mittie" E. Blalock Stoker is not buried where her headstone is. She is buried in the old JC Bell Family Cemetery in the woods on the hill in back of the home of Mrs. Mary Jane Mullinix. She was Mullinix's mother and when the time came that Mrs. Mullinix was unable to walk up the hill to see her mother's grave, she persuaded her husband, Tom Burse Mullinix, Sr., to move the headstone to Stony Hill so that when she went to church, she could see it.
