Pg 1026 Clinton Co (Ohio) History:
George Biggs owned the 1st steam-saw mill in Washington twp which burned in 1856. He then moved to Clinton Valley and erected the 1st circular steam saw in Clinton County. He sold it in 1860 to Joseph Dodd and resumed farming.
