MACOMB -- Lotta M. Applegate, 96, of 815 W. Piper died at 6 a.m.
Sunday, June 26, 1994, at McDonough District Hospital.
Born June 9, 1898, in Vermont to Sherman and Cora May Lybarger, she married Richard Applegate on June 6, 1929, in Quincy. He died June 10, 1976. Three sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Robert of Bardolph; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
She lived in McDonough, Warren and Fulton counties before moving to Macomb in 1928. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home. The Rev. David Huff will officiate. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
