Daniels, 59, died Thursday at
Danforth Memorial Hospital after
a brief illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday
at Greater Bell Zion Baptist
Church, the Rev. Zephaniah
Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow services at
Mainland Memorial Cemetery in
Hitchcock, under the direction of
Mainland Funeral Home of La
Marque.
Mr. Daniels was born March 25,
1925, in Smackover, Ark., and was
a former school administrator. He
later became a self-employed contractor.
Survivors include his son,
Timothy Joe Daniels of New York
City; three sisters, Marzella Davis
of Sacramento, Calif., Laura Mae
Davis of Pasadena, Calif., and
Parsenia Primm of Texas City; 13
nieces and nephews; an aunt; and
a host of other relatives and
friends.
Visitors may call at the funeral
home after 1 p.m. Monday. Memorials
also may be sent to the
funeral home.
