PANTON, VT. - Bradley "BJ" Dale Hutchins Jr., age 21, of Panton, died unexpectedly as a result of an accident on Friday, November 23rd 2001 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.

He was born on January 12th 1980 in Burlington, Vt., the son of Bradley Dale and Anne (Smith) Hutchins Sr.

He graduated from Vergennes Union High School in 1999 and the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2001.

BJ was a member of the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad since 1996.

He was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Vergennes, Vt.

He was employed at Heritage Ford in South Burlington, Vt.

BJ enjoyed hunting, skiing, maple sugaring in Cabot, Vt. with his family, and working on cars.

He was predeceased by his grandfather; Robert E. Smith Jr. of Burlington, Vt., and his uncle; Bryce Hutchins of Colchester, Vt.

A Mass of Christian Buril will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the St. Peter Catholic Church in Vergennes,

Arrangements by the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes, Vt.

Interment will be at the Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes, Vt.

Panton man dies in ATV rollover

PANTON, VT. - A 21 year old Panton man died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving crashed into a steel gate in Panton late Friday, police said.

Vermont State Police said Bradley Hutchins suffered massive leg injuries in the accident, which occurred at about 10 p.m. He was transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., where he died,
