UGUSTA, Ga. - Leliane M. Burroughs, beloved wife of the late Willard Burroughs, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. Mrs. Burroughs graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She went on to serve her country, as a registered nurse at the Veterans Administration - Lynwood Hospital. She was active in her membership at Lyndon Grove Presbyterian Church. Mama Lili was an animal lover of cats and dogs, especially Brandon and Dolly as well as a contributor to the Humane Society. Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. (Gerald R.) Jennings; son, Thomas C. Cochran; grandchildren, April M. Bronstein, Joyce Beecher, Jerri Jennings Joly, Tori Cassar, William Cochran, Tommy Cochran Jr., Jonathan Blake Cochran, Andrew Cochran and Stephanie Cochran. She was blessed by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2PM, Monday, May 20, 2013 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home - Columbia Road Chapel. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
