MRS. EMMA J. MURRY DEAD
Mrs. Emma J. Murry, 67, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Price, 1114 Rural, died at 5 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home, 1114 Rural, and will be conducted by Rev. D. F. Cross, Pastor of the First Christian church. Interment will be in the Maplewood cemetery.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MURRY
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jane Murry, wife of G. T. Murry, 908 Woodland, who died Saturday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Price, 1114 Rural, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Price home. Rev. D. F. Cross, pastor of the First Christian church, conducted the services. Mrs. J. T. Nicholas and Mrs. Emma Jones sang, accompanied by Mrs. Ed Lewis. The pallbearers were: Charles Mayes, W. S. Williamson, W. T. Stanley, Daniel Dumbauld, George Miller and W. L. Diggs. Interment was in the Maplewood cemetery.
Mrs. Murry, whose maiden name was Emma Jane Beeler, was born August 5, 1860, in Oregon, Mo. She was married to G. T. Murry, February 17, 1884. They lived in Missouri until 14 years ago, when they moved to Emporia. Mrs. Murry stayed with her daughter, Mrs. Price, during her illness before her death. Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Murry, three of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Thomas Price, 1114 Rural; Mrs. Frank Lamborn, of Wasco, Ore., and F. R. Murry, 908 Woodland. Mr. G. T. Murry, her husband, three sisters, Mrs. George Lamborn, of Wasco, Ore.; Mrs. George Keefer, of Mound City, Mo.; Mrs. Melissa [sic], of Yale, Okla., and one brother, Joseph Beeler, 1314 Sunny Slope, survive. She was a member of the Christian church.
