Mrs. Maria Gray, City Resident, Dies At Age 88
Mrs. Maria Gray, 88, of 306 west Sixth street, and widow of Matthew Gray, died yesterday following an illness at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Ruth Bledsoe, at Jeffersonville.
Mrs. Gray was a life resident of Madison and a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church.
She is also survived by two sons and three daughters, Andrew, with whom she resided in Madison; Rev. Herman King, New Albany, a son by a former marriage; Mrs. Florence Cox, Anderson; Miss Wilhelmina Gray, Dayton, O., and Mrs. Pauline Sanders, Anderson.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer church and burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lytle Mortuary after 7:30 o'clock tonight.
