ANDREW J. REED DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL SUNDAY

A resident of Canon City for the past 27 years, Andrew Jackson Reed, 73, died at a local hospital about 8:30 Sunday evening fro heart trouble. He was taken to the hospital four days ago when his condition became grave.
he was born in Bowling Green, Mo., on February 2, 1871, and was reared in that state.
In his earlier years, Mr. Reed was employed as a teamster and did contracting work. He had been retired for several years.
He was a member of the First Methodist church of Canon City.
Two sons and a daughter survive., They are Glen Reed of Pueblo, Red (sic) Reed of Canon City and Mrs. Archye Ward of Canon City. Mrs. Reed died here in 1932.
Funeral rites will be held at the Canon mortuary service room Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. Benjamin Eitelgeorge, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Lakeside cemetery beside the body of Mrs. Reed.
