Sarah (Eck) Baver, widow of Jacob Baver, died of complicatons on Sunday afternoon at her home, 652 Mulberry Street, aged 79 years, 6 months, and 1 day. Mrs. Baver was born in Longswamp Township, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James Eck. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. William (Mary) Clemmer, Mrs. Leander Buser, & Edwin E. Baver, all of Reading; Martin E. Baver of Allentown; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harry Schaffer. A stepson, William A. Baver, died 4 months ago; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive together with two brothers, Alphinus & Augustus Eck of Bally and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rebecca Wendling of Allentown. Undertaker Seidel removed the body to the residence of deceased's daughter, Mrs. William Clemmer, 1010 Oley Street. © The Eagle, Reading, PA, 30 Mar 1925
