Funeral for Donald P. Mitchell, a resident of Portland since 1960, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Riverview Cemetery Chapel. Mr. Mitchell, who was 54, died Tuesday in Portland hospital after a heart attack.
A member of a pioneer family, Mr. Mitchell was born in Portland. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Butte, Mont., before returning to Portland, where he worked as the proprietor of the Pacific Laminating Corp. for two years.
Survivors include his father, Pete Mitchell of Portland, and sisters, Sylvia West of Portland and Phyllis Piper of Los Angeles, Calif.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
