KINGSTREE — Vicie Lou Bunk Harvey Coker, 75, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at her residence after an illness.
Mrs. Coker was born in Beaufort, a daughter of George and Lillie Stanley Harvey. She attended Beaufort High School and was retired from Cokers Building Supply in Kingstree. Mrs. Coker was a member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church. She was preceded by three weeks in death by her husband, Homer Lee Coker; and also preceded in death by brothers, Fred Harvey, George Harvey and J.C. Harvey; and sisters, Ruby Anders and Janie White.
Surviving are a daughter, Gail (Robert) Gibbons; son, Stanley (Brenda) Coker, both of Kingstree; grandchildren, Shannon (Michele) Coker of Kingstree, Brett Coker of Marietta, Ga., Shawn (Liz) Gibbons of Kingstree, Ryan Coker of Hemingway; stepgrandchildren, Buffy (Kirk) Jones of Johnsonville, Michael Newell of Columbia, Josh Abrams of Kingstree; great-grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Coker and Megan Nicole Gibbons, both of Kingstree; stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooke Roberts, Whitney Jones and Karla Jones, all of Johnsonville.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Kingstree Second Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
